HUDLER, DONALD J. - March 11, 1927- June 4, 2011. Of Jackson, passed away at Carelink of Jackson Hospital on Saturday, June 4, 2011, age 84. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Mary Hudler; sister, Nancy Hudler; brother, Robert J. Hudler; granddaughters, Jacqueline and Melissa Hilden. He is survived by his wife, Greta; sons, Kurt, Matthew (Saron), John and William; daughters, Gotchen Hilden, Donna Riley, Karen (Thomas) Cummings, Heidi (Richard Stone) Hudler and Dr. Elizabeth (Dr. Fadi Nicolas) Hudler; nephew, James Hudler; nieces, Sheryl Hudler and Mary Ellen (David) Leinwebber; 12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. Don served in the U.S. occupation Army in Germany at the end of World War II. He graduated from The University of Michigan in 1952. He retired, after 30 years of service, from Consumers Energy in 1987. In accordance with his wishes, his body was donated to The University of Michigan Medical School. There will be no service.
