Albert R. Vaughan, 66i, of Paris, died Friday, Jan 22, 1999, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, Jan 25, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Long Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Albert Riley Vaughan was born in Jefferson, TX, a son of Homer Vaughan and Lula Williams. He attended public schools in Jefferson and was of the Baptist faith. He worked as an oil field inspector before his retirement and loved hunting, fishing and traveling. He married Stella Thompson July 4, 1972.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Christopher Joe Seth Ferguson in 1997.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Anthony Vaughan of Cooper; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Vaughan Brown of Longview and Willie Marie Vaughan of Longview; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Gilbert David Frazier Jr. of Georgia and Timmy Ray Frazier of Dallas; four step-daughters, Debra Sue 'Debbie' Frazier Stuart of North Carolina, Sherry Cason of Paris, Karen Kay Frazier Fitts of Mount Pleasant and Becky Gwen Frazier of Roxton; 12 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lanny Walker, Gary Thompson, Timmy Frazier, Mike Parnell, Dale Crump and Octavia Sanchez.
