Regena Lucille Casey, 52, of Salina, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at her residence. She was born Jan. 29, 1959, in Martinez, Calif., to the late Ignatz L. and Erma (Smith) Redeker, the fifth child. She grew up in California and Kansas, graduating from Downs High School, in 1977. She began a relationship with Jesus Ocampo after graduating high school and had two children. She later married Dan Casey.
Preceded in death by: sister-in-law, Julie Redeker; and Jesus Ocampo. Survivors: son, Aaron (Kimberly) Ocampo, of Laurel, Neb.; daughter, Matia Ocampo, of Laramie, Wyo.; two grandsons, Taven and Trécyn Ocampo, of Laurel, Neb.; siblings, Pat Heinen (Ross) and Sue DeBoldt (Buford), all of Downs, Ron Redeker, Shirley Benedict and Mark (Jerri) Redeker, all of Salina, Steve (Barb) Redeker, of Long Island, Kan., Angie Herdt (Kelly), of Smith Center, and Terri Godsey (Darin), of Gaylord, Kan.; aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews.
Private family inurnment: Downs Cemetery. Memorial Service and Celebration of Life: 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center.
