In a consideration of the man, Christopher Columbus Chennault, we are forced by the limitation of space, to continue our remarks to the fewest and most conbeise sentences possible.
Christopher C. Chennault was born in Richland Parish in 1856 and had spent the whole of his life with his friends and relatives her. He was married three times, and leaves his widow and four of her children, besides Lum Chennault by his first, and Miss Lily Chennault, now living in Texas, by his second wife.
As Constable, as Deputy Sherriff, and as town Martial, C. C. Chennault was always fearless and just in the discharge of his duties; as a man, honorable, fair, upright in his dealings; As a father and husband, liberal, tender, loving.
The Woodman of the World and the Columbian Woodman had charge of the funeral ceremonies, and Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, committed his body to the grave.
