Mabel L. Alling, 91 of Marshall, died April 16 in the Marshall Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 5, 1897 in Searcy County. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include a daughter, Geneve Watkins of Salisbury, NC; two brothers, Leon Clayton of Witts Springs and (Glen) Hudge Clayton of Frederick, OK; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were April 19 in the Archey Valley Church with burial in Archey Valley Cemetery.
