BOONSBORO - Mrs. Annie Barbara Brandenburg, 86, a former Hagerstown resident, died at the Fahrney-Keedy Home near Boonsboro Sunday morning.

She was born at Chewsville, the daughter of late Jacob and Anna Lechrone Eckstien. She was the widow of Cyrus G. Brandenburg.

She was a member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Freeda Johns of Leitersburg, Mrs. Gladys Longanecker of Homosassa Springs, Fla., and Mrs. Kathryn Swope of Keedysville; two sons, Kenneth L. Brandenburg of Keedysville and Max A. Brandenburg of Hagerstown; one sister, Mrs. Katie Hoover of Chewsville; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Bast Funeral Hone in Boonsboro at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Howard L. Kaucher officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight.
