Mrs. John H. Hollis, wife of John H. Hollis, secretary of the People's Building and Loan Association and for several years alderman of the Fourth ward, died at the family residence, 1510 Schiller Avenue, at 7:30 a.m. yesterday.
She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Taliaferro of Rison, Ark., and came to Little Rock with her husband 20 years ago.
Mrs. Hollis is survived by her husband; three daughters, Misses Barbara, Mildred and Lynn Hollis; three sons, John, William, and Taliaferro Hollis, the latter a student at Hendrix College; three sisters, Mrs. John H. Breathwaite of Rison and Mrs. E. P. Aldredge and Miss Mary Taliaferro of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 10:30 this morning and the body will be placed in the Mount Holly mausoleum by Cook-Drummond-Overman Company.
