Will Abstract
Book 5, page 1-4

1. Pay all my debts, funeral expenses, and placing a suitable marker at my grave.
2. To my beloved wife MARGARET A. CONLEY, in lieu of provision made by statute, $500 and all the household goods brought into the marriage.
3. To my beloved wife MARGARET A. CONLEY, all my real estate in Vermillion County, 120 acres, as long as she remains my widow. This is made subject to the right of my beloved daughters - EDITH A. CONLEY and MARGARET CONLEY - each of them to have a home as long as they remain single.
4. To my beloved daughters EDITH A. CONLEY and MARGARET CONLEY, Lots 81 and 82 in Newport subject to life estate of my wife.
5. To my beloved daughter EDITH A. CONLEY, all my household goods, this is to include the piano.
6. To my beloved children - PAUL H. CONLEY, CARL H. CONLEY, W. BERT CONLEY, EDITH A. CONLEY, MARGARET CONLEY - all the real estate mentioned in Item #3 subject to life estate of my wife.
7. The money due $877 from the policy of Bankers Life Association I give to my children of my first marriage - PAUL H. CONLEY, CARL H. CONLEY, W. BERT CONLEY and EDITH A. CONLEY. This is money received of their mother.
8. I desire that the remainder of my estate is to be divided as follows - 1/3 to my wife MARGARET A. CONLEY, the remaining in 5 equal parts - 1/5 to PAUL H. CONLEY's children, HUGH B. CONLEY and PHOEBE A. CONLEY - 1/5 to CARL H. CONLEY, 1/5 to W. BERT CONLEY - 1/5 to EDITH CONLEY - 1/5 to MARGARET CONLEY.
9. If I should die before my daughter MARGARET CONLEY graduates from college, I give to her mother $350 in trust to pay for expenses of college for 4 years.
10. I direct that all my property be appraised. My son WILLIAM BERT CONLEY shall have all my law books and furniture at their appraised value.
11. I appoint my wife MARGARET A. CONLEY Executrix. I request that my son W. BERT CONLEY do the legal business. Each shall receive compensation.
