HEIDI ANN BUCKLIN
September 19, 1992 ~ May 23, 2011
"Her smile and laughter will forever live in our hearts."

Heidi was born at home in Vancouver, WA to Ann and Rob Bucklin. She was a senior at Columbia River High School and worked at Jamba Juice.

Heidi had a beautiful smile, seemingly endless amounts of energy, and fierceness as a competitor in all she did, a stubborn yet very sensitive girl.

Her joys in life were the times she spent on the basketball court, soccer field, working out at the gym or hanging out with friends day and night. Her laughter could fill a room from floor to ceiling. Heidi had unique way of reaching out to anyone and everyone around her and taking the time to make them feel loved.

Heidi leaves behind her parents, Ann and Rob; her brother, Anthony; sisters, Katie (husband Bobby), Ellie and Hannah; special friends, Jennifer and Don Rhoads; as well as her grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a multitude of friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Columbia River High School. Please wear something colorful and cheery to honor Heidi's bright spirit.

In honor of Heidi, an endowed scholarship is being set up through the Vancouver School District Foundation to be awarded each year to a graduating senior from Columbia River. The goal is to raise a minimum of $25,000 in order for this to be a permanent scholarship in her honor. Make checks payable to the Vancouver School District Foundation, Vancouver, WA 98668. (fbo Heidi Bucklin Memorial Scholarship in notes section).
