Betty "Chris" Louise Fischer of Catharpin, Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Prince William County Hospital.

Born in Topeka Kansas, September 22, 1927, to George Henry and Lena Bell Christopher, Betty lived in Catharpin, Virginia for over 35 years. She attended Parker High School in Illinois and Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

The pride of her working years was the design of the "Princess" telephone for Bell, and being a Breck shampoo model.

During her time with us, she touched many lives through her encouragement, prayers, and support. Betty's adventurous spirit and positive approach to life shined wherever she was. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Heaven has received a precious gift in her.

Betty's husband; John Arthur Fischer, pre-deceased her in 1997. She is survived by her son Mark Alan Fischer and her daughter Cris Lynn Mitchell, five grandchildren, Clarissa Fleming, Stuart Fischer, Jennifer Mitchell, Katrina Mitchell and Heather Fischer, and three great-grandchildren.

Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to The Widow's Mite, RR3, Box 432 Flagstaff, AZ 86004.

This was a charity mom often supported and deeply loved.

The visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM June 3, 2011 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, VA 20186. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM June 4, 2011 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton VA with Rev. Karl Skinner officiating.

Interment in Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton, VA
