Orville L. Boldt, 65, of Woodlawn, died at 7:13 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1993, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Hughey Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Askew, Rev. Evan House and Les Boldt officiating. Burial will be at the Brick Cemetery in Ashley. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday).

Memorials may be made to the White Swan Baptist Church.

Mr. Boldt was born May 26, 1928, in Jefferson County, the son of Albert and Marietta (Breeze) Boldt. He married Zona M. Wilson on Nov. 4, 1951, in Jefferson County.

Mr. Boldt was a retired farmer. He was a member of the White Swan Baptist Church and was a deacon of the church for many years. He served on the Woodlawn High School Board for 27 years. He was also on the merit board of the Jefferson County Sheriff Department and precinct committeeman of Casner Township.

Mr. Boldt is survived by his wife, Zona M. Boldt of Woodlawn; two daughters, Marilyn Chesnek and her husband, William of Ashley and Julie Klebba and her husband, Ben of Mount Vernon; three sons, Les Boldt and his wife, Nancy, of Olney, David Boldt and his wife, Vicki of Fairfield and Robert Boldt and his wife, Jackie of Woodlawn; eight grandchildren, Matt Chesnek, Jason Chesnek, Lance Boldt, Nathan Boldt, Rachel Boldt, Kristin Boldt, Jessica Klebba and Alex Boldt; two brothers, Leroy Boldt and his wife, Audrey, of Benton and Marvin Boldt and his wife, Norma, of Ashley and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Boldt was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mildred Newcomb.
