Mr. James Pope Boston, age 87, passed away at Oconee Medical Center on July 11, 1999. He was a resident of Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville, GA. Born in Atlanta in 1911. Served in U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II. Later, employed by Southern Railway in Atlanta, GA. Member of St. John Methodist Church of Atlanta. He is survived by one brother, Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Boston, Jr., of Dallas, GA; two nephews, Mr. John Boston and Mr. Henry Boston both of Dallas, GA; two great nephews, Mr. John Boston, Jr., of Newburn, GA; Mr. Henry Boston, IV, of Dallas, Georgia; two great nieces, Miss Shannon Boston of Newburn, GA; Miss Holly Boston, of Dallas, GA; one cousin, Miss Fran Wagner of Palm Bay, Florida. Graveside services only will be conducted on Tuesday, July 13, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 P.M.
