Mr. Cruse was a former resident of Lufkin. He was a retired inspector for the State of Texas.
Survivors: daughters, Ann Atkinson of Deer Park; son, Frank Cruse of Houston; sister, Willie M. Cruse of Houston; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
