Robert is the son of Robert Mason of Yorkshire and his wife Harriet Nee Clappin or Claphan or Clapham. Robert Sr and Harriet are also buried at Richmond Hill in Holy Trinity. After Robert Sr died, Mother Harriet married Nathaniel Kirby also of Yorkshire. Robert married first Elizabeth Williams Dexter and they had eight children including Margaret Mason Lehman 40427529, and other will be connected or names with memorial numbers added.
Elizabeth died in 1864 and on the 18th of June 1875 Robert married Nancy Jane Darling.
