Jane R. Ball, 93 years old, wife of the late Wm. B. Ball, passed away in Hattiesburg, MS, May 27th. Graveside services will be today at 3 PM in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with visitation at Wright and Ferguson Downtown from 1:30-2:30 PM.

Jane was born in York, AL in 1918 to the parents of the late Claude and Alice Rumley. She had been a member of Galloway Memorial Methodist since 1938 and lived in Jackson until moving to Hattiesburg ten years ago. She was a professional Girl Scout Worker, a member of the Tuesday Garden and Mecca Luncheon Clubs.

Mrs. Ball is survived by her two daughters BJ Ball Lester,of Grand Junction, CO and Ann Ball Ingels (Tom) of Ridgeland, MS married, 5 grandchildren; Wallace Lester (Shannon McNally) of Holly Springs, MS, Jere Lester Thomas (Kevin) of Salida, CO, Dr. Suzanne Lester (Matt Tunis) of Athens, GA, Carolyn Ingels Beasley (Jason) of Tupelo, MS and Dr. Jennifer Ingels Hughes of Hattiesburg. She was blessed with seven great grandchildren Meredith and Morgan Beasley, Colin and Carter Hughes, Maeve Lester, and Cassius and Josephine Tunis.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Methodist Hour and Forest General Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff of Forest General Hospice and HMP Nursing Services for their thoughtful, loving care of Mrs. Ball.
