Jane "Virginia" G. Giles and William Chrisman had 6 known children, all born in VA:
Mary Gay, 16 Feb 1866 (Wm Fallis)
Martha H., 20 Apr 1867 (unmarried)
Margaret Ann, 4 Jul 1868 (Cary N Dunlap)
Lulu O., 1869
Olive, 31 Mar 1870
Henrietta, 5 Feb 1871
On the 1850 Nelson Co., VA census, I found merchant Thomas Giles, 38; Sarah, 38; clerk Samuel, 15; William, 13; Robert, 11; Thomas, 7; JANE, 7; Ossian, 4; Giles, 1/12 and Mary J Harris, 23, all VA born.
On the 1860 Roseland, Nelson Co., VA census, I found merchant Thos R Giles, 47; Mary J., 48; Wm H., 22; Thomas, 20; JANE G., 16; Oshen, 13 and (male) Marion, 10. They were all born in Nelson Co., VA except for Mary J Giles, born in Rockingham Co., VA.
On the 1870 Rockingham Co., VA census, I found Wm Chrisman, 37; VIRGINIA, 28; Mary, 5; Martha, 4 and Margaret, 3, all VA born.
Virginia AKA Jane died in 1873 and it appears her husband has remarried to "Jane, Jennie, Ginnie," Gay, a younger woman who has 2 young children by 1880, below, plus Virginia's step children.
On the 1880 Rockingham Co., VA Census, I found Wm J Chrisman, 45; wife JANE O., 30, they have 3 elder daughters: Mary, 20; Martha, 13 and Margaret, 11, plus younger kids Emma, 3 and Geo Wm, 2, all VA born. The last 2 were born AFTER Wm married a 2nd time on "28 May 1875" to Jane Ginnie Olivia Gay, the daughter of Wm W and Sarah Gay. WHERE is daughter "Olive" born in 1873?
Her marker says Jane G. Chrisman, "Aged 31 y, 3 m, wife of W. J." and the 2002 survey says "illegible stone-recorded by Swank in 1960's." It was 1967. William's parents are also in this plot plus daughter Lula O., died 8 Dec 1871, aged 2 yr, 1 mo, 8d, listed as "illegible stone," and recorded by Swank in 1967. William's 2nd wife's grave also says Jane G. Chrisman.
Existing records are puzzling using the same given and multiple nick names (Virginia, Jennie, Ginnie, Jane, Gay). I imagine it was easier for husband William who could use the same names for both wives. Perhaps Mary J. Gay and Jane Gay were related. Original records are needed for support. In 1770 William's wife is Virginia and in 1880 his 2nd wife is Jane. The LDS records say Jane married William Chrisman in 1765 and Ginnie (short for Virginia) Olivia married him in 1775. Plus the first born daughter is named Mary "Gay" (Chrisman gen.7-8; Lee's Ancestors & Descendants & others). Further Wm Chrisman's 2nd wife's son Wm G. Chrisman's death record says his mother is "Virginia" Gay.
According to the grave photographer, her marker is "illegible, but is next to and to the right of William Chrisman and it feels like "Jane" is engraved near the top and the death date feels like 1873."
