Anna was a homemaker and she and her husband Robert raised 4 children on the Botner farm in Garfield, Mn. Clarice, Archie, Orville and Bernie.

After retirement, she and Robert moved into Alexandria, Mn.

Her mothers maiden name was Mattson
Anna Christina Botner was born in Tintah, Minnesota on November 26, 1891. The daughter of Amund and Carolina Mattson Severson. She was baptized and confrimed in the Elk Lake Lutheran Church by Rev. Erdahl. She attended school and grew to womanhood in this community. On July 3, 1920 she was united in marriage to Robert Botner at Barrett, Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. Botner continued to live in Moe Township until 1968 when they moved to Alexandria, Minnesota.
Mrs. Botner had been in failing health and passed away on Friday, Jan. 11, 1974 at the age of 82.
She is survuved by her husband, Robert: one daughter and three sons: Clarice (Mrs. Elvin Vee) of Spokane, Washington; Archie of Spokane, Washington; Orville of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; Bernie of Garfield, Minnesota. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two sisters: Louise (Mrs. Clifford Daub) of Spokane, Washington; Mabel (Mrs. Edwin Olson) of Alexandria; one brother Selmer Severson of Alexandria, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, January 15, 1974 at 2 pm. East Moe Lutheran Church, Moe Twp, with Rev. Harold Knutson officiating.
Interment was in East Moe Cemetery, Moe Twp.
Pall Bearers were Vernon Olson, Otto Vendel, Lyle Gulbranson, Clifton Botner, Palmer Botner, William Botner.
Mrs. Melvin Mattson accompanied by Mrs. James Lauthen sang "Nearer My God To Thee" and "The Old Rugged Cross".
