Death of a Good Woman

The death of Mrs. A. A. Cone on Saturday night, brief mention of which was made in Sundays morning paper, brought sadness to the hearts of many in the city who had known and loved the deceased. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from her late residence on Broad Street at three o'clock, Dr. Robt. H. Harris conducting the service.
Mrs. Cone was in her 69th year. She was born and raised in Jefferson county, Fla., but had been living in Thomasville for the past twenty years. For many years she had been a member of the Baptist church and lived, at all times, the life of a faithful & devoted Christian. She was a woman of many noble traits of character and was held in the highest esteem by all who knew her.
The deceased leaves one son, J. J. Cone and four daughters, Mrs. Rosa Beasley, Mrs. George Jaenicke, Miss Libby and Miss Lizzie Cone, to mourn the loss of their mother. These have our heartfelt sympathy of all in the bereavement.
