"Anna Hamilton, age 83, passed away on May 20, 2011. She was born on June 15, 1927 in New Sweden, Travis County, Texas to Warren Grant and Tennie (Preston) Grant. She attended schools in Manor and Austin, and was a graduate of the old Anderson High School. She was baptized at Ulit Ave. Baptist Church by Reverend W.M. Webb, and later united with First Baptist Church in 1966, where she was a faithful member. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Joe Hamilton; five sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Annette Faye Young, Marilyn (George, Sr.) Curry, and Lisa (Arthur Henry, Jr.) Hamilton; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and many dear friends...."
