Biography transcribed from notes of Fannie Curtice dated 1970:
"Jasper Irvin Curtice son of George and Susan Curtice, was 2nd oldest of 8 children, 4 boys and 3 girls was born in a small country town, Hillsdale, Iowa. While real young the family moved to Purcell, Oklahoma on a farm, lived there many years. His ambition was as he grew up, to go out and make a life of his own. He still stayed with the work he loved that is a great inspiration, when one can work and your dreams are being fulfilled. He made friends easily and the love and respect that was shown him, all their kindness in every way and well liked by all who knew him. After we were married, he really enjoyed a home of his own, made home life so enjoyable and beautiful with his garden and lovely flowers, which I never can forget and how much I miss it now. I could go on and on. Only to say this book is now complete, all written by your wife Fannie Bell."

Jasper and Fannie had one son, Chester Curtice and three granddaughters.
