Melvin Harold Foster, 24, of Harrison died Tuesday morning, November 30th, at Woodburn, Oregon. He was injured in a fall from a horse on February 21st of this year.

He was born May 19, 1947, in Lewistown, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Foster. He attended Manhattan schools and graduated from Manhattan High School in 1965. He married Sandra Yadon in October, 1965, at Manhattan.

At the time of his death he was employed by Wells-Hokansen of Harrison.

Survivors, in addition to the widow of Harrison and parents of Manhattan, include a son, Shawn; brothers, Norman of Three Forks, and Doug of Manhattan; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Foster of Lewistown; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A daughter preceded him in death on December 26, 1970.
