Mrs. Iva Cannaday, 77, a resident of Smithfield, died at 8:20 p.m. Monday at Ball Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Iowa, she moved to Delaware County during her childhood. She was the widow of Homer (Dick) Cannaday and was a member of the Smithfield Church.

Surviving are a son, Carl, of Muskegon, Mich.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Pierce, Losantville, Mrs. Frances Brennan, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Herbert Pence, Muncie; and two brothers, L.L. Fullhart, Muncie, and Charles Fullhart, Lewistown, Mich.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Parson Mortuary.
