Mrs. Benson Ford, Sr., daughter of a General Motors executive, a vice-president of Cadillac, Lynn McNaughton, was a generous benefactor and member of the Henry Ford Hospital Board of Trustees for 36 years. She died at the hospital after a long illness. She had not been happy with her husband's role, feeling that he was overshadowed by her elder brother-in-law, Benson's older brother, Henry Ford II.
