WWI veteran, patriot, gassed twice (eventually costing his eysight); ARMY INFANTRY 1914 - 1919; emigrated to the US in 1910; on completion of his military obligatory, he met his soulmate and future wife, Florence. He was the son of the late Abel A. and Matilde(Nardin) Bavoux of Alsace -Lorraine, France. Was brother to Roger E. Bavoux of France and brother to half-sisters Jeanne and Lucie (Clain-Clain) Bavoux. As of this date he leaves a son, two grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
