Mamie M. Fraser
CONCORDIA - Mamie M. Fraser, 86, Concordia, died Tuesday, March 2, 1993, at the Mount Joseph Care Home, Concordia.
Mrs. Fraser was born Mamie M. Morrissette on April 1, 1906, at St. Joseph and was a resident of the Aurora community since 1931, moving from California. She taught rural schools for a number of years and was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora, and St. Anne's Altar Society.
Her husband, Ernest, died in 1980. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Yvonne.
Survivors include a daughter, Clarita Fraser of Concordia; two sons, Jim of Hebron, Neb., and Bo of Columbia, Mo.; a brother, Cleo Morrissette of Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Zephrine Desilet of Concordia; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora, the Rev. Stephen Letourneau officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. Sixth, P.O. Box 606, Concordia, 66901.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at the chapel.
