William Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert T. Erickson, departed this life Monday morning at the home of his parents in Yorktown. He was born near Kirkpatrick on January 6, 1895. He had been sick for only one week and death was attributed to pneumonia. He leaves to mourn his loss a father, mother, two brothers, Frank and Harry, and one sister, Edith, besides a host of other relatives and friends. He possessed a bright and cheerful disposition and was loved by all who knew him. He was a member of the grammar department of the Stockwell school and his death has cast a gloom over the whole school, it being the first death among the pupils for many years. The funeral was conducted from the Methodist church at Yorktown Wednesday morning. Rev. F. J. Beisel, of Stockwell, officiating, and interment was made in the Yorktown cemetery. The sorrowing relatives have the sincerest sympathy of a host of friends in their bereavement.
