Adolph Edward Tefts, 86 , of Westfield died Saturday at home. He was born in Westfield, and was the owner of Tefts Farm,a longtime family farm. Adolph stayed at home during World War II to take care of the farm and his mother, and was a graduate of the former Westfield Trade School. Adolph was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was predeceased by seven siblings, Amelia C. Nash, Helena K. Deluca, William G. Tefts, Julius J. Tefts, John A. Tefts, Louis F. Tefts, and August M. Tefts. He is survived by two sisters, Miriam A. Reed of Westfield, Edna W. Borges of Westport, MA, several nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Adolph also leaves his friends Lou and George of Westfield. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service,76 Broad St., Westfield at 11AM.Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
