Herman Bugg, who was a lieutenant in the Armored Tank Corps, met death in action July 20, 1944, in France. He had entered the Army early in 1942 and was trained at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Lieutenant Bugg, a graduate of Lemoore Union High School, later attended St. Ignatius College and Stanford University Law School. He was employed in the state of Washington prior to entering the Armed Services. Bugg was the son of Mrs. Viola Moore, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Denzer, all of the Lemoore district.
