From Mass VR.... the son named Alonzo of Abraham and Anna (Bemis) Capen was born in Spencer, Mass. on 31 Mar 1822. This 1822 year of birth disagrees somewhat from the 1817 birth year entered above for this memorial, but it is not outside the realm of possibility. HOWEVER, it should be noted that there is an Alonzo Capen who lived PAST the 1853 death date, and HE is living in Cheshire, Mass, in 1855 , aged 31, with a wife named Phidelia.
