CONNIFF - Bernard Joseph "Joe," 82, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East. Joe was a native of Louisville, son of the late Bernard J. & Elizabeth Stewart Conniff. He was a graduate of Flaget High School, and retired from the old Standard Gravure. He loved playing golf at Seneca golf course, was an avid Louisville Cardinal Fan, and a member of St. Louis Bertrand Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Joan Wingfield Conniff. He is survived by his second wife, Doris Fleece Conniff; sons, Dennis J. (Lesley) & Kevin L (Kristi) Conniff; granddaughter, Kylie Kimiko Conniff; sister, Emily Malcomb (Don); stepchildren, Steve (Bev), Randy, Greg (Jen) Fleece, Sherri Braley (Scott); seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. His funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, at St. Louis Bertrand, 1108 S. Sixth St. with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday, at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road. Memorial contributions in Joe's memory may be made to Mass of the Air.
