Mrs. Frances Amelia Alexander, 61, matron of the nurses' home at St. Paul Sanitarium, died Sunday. She lived in Dallas 25 years. Surviving are two brothers, John T. Dowling and George L. Dowling, both of New Orleans, and a niece, Miss Myrtle Lessinger [Lasseigne] of Madison, Wisconsin.

The Rosary was recited at the St. Paul Nurses' Home at 8 p. m. Sunday by the Catholic Women's League, of which Mrs. Alexander was first president. Funeral services will be held at 8 a. m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ross Avenue at Pearl Street, Msgr. B. H. Diamond officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
