"Death came suddenly to John DeWitt Baxter, a retired farmer and a highly respected resident of the town of Sharon Saturday afternoon, Oct. 14th. He went to the farm of Earl Baxter, a nephew, to see the men at work filling the silo, and had been there but a short time when he suddenly expired. He was about 80 years of age. His wife, who was Catherine Vrooman, died the latter part of May of the present year. Funeral services were held at his home Tuesday at 2 p. m., Rev. Newton Wright, pastor of the M.
