Georgetown Bobby Alford 42 died Saturday at a Georgetown County Hospital.
The funeral will be 1 pm at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens, directed by Mayer Funeral Home.
Mr Alford was born in Florence County a son of the late Lofton Holland Alford and Mrs Catherine Liza Miles Alford. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and had served with the US Army Signal Corps in the Korean Conflict. He had been Title 1 Coordinator of the Georgetown County Board of Education at the time of his death.
