Artie Mae McWhorter passed away in a Houston hospital May 15, 2011. She was born October 10, 1930 in Plum Grove, Texas to Ardist Reeves McWhorter and Dora Ellen Ward McWhorter.

Artie is survived by her three sons, Ken Oswald, Cary Oswald and Mark Oswald; one daughter, Sandy Oswald; six grandchildren, Ashley Pillow, Tania Oswald, Dana Oswald, Garrett Oswald, Joey Fortune ad Michael Fortune and one great grandson, Christian Pillow.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday, May 20, 2011 at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, May 21, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to follow.

Arrangements under the direction of Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, Webster, TX.
