Jane Herring Butt, 61, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Chesterfield County, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 at the University of Virginia Hospital. She was retired from the Virginia Department of Taxation.
Survivors include her husband, Ellis F. Butt; mother, Rachel Maultsby Herring of Little Egg Harbor, N.J.; a sister, Faye Perez of Little Egg Harbor, N.J.; and a brother, James David Herring of West Palm Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, William Robert Butt.
