Notes: THE PARIS NEWS, 29 Apr 1961. 'Graveside rites for Carol Ann, four-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer L. Abbett, 2470 Culbertson St., were set Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Melville Nesbit of Central Presbyterian Church had charge. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home making interment. The child died unexpectedly about 8 p.m. Saturday at the home of her parents. She was born here 28 Dec 1960. Survivors are her father and her mother, the former Miss Ann Frances Simmons; a sister, Linda Jo, and three grandparents, Mrs. Luke C. Abbett, and Judge and Mrs. Archie M. Harrison, all of Paris.' *On the same stone with Mark Stephen Abbett.
