Conrad Lindquist, 78, of Blossburg, Pa., died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, Pa.

Conrad was born on April 21, 1933, the son of Otto and Ellen (Nybeck) Lindquist.

He was married to Janice Boinske on Feb. 14, 1953 and recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.

Conrad is survived by six children, Kim (James) Lamonski, Kevin (Lisa) Lindquist, Karla (Jeff) Manikowski, all of Blossburg, Mary Ellen (Edwin) Isaacson of Pottstown, Pa., Jennifer (Dewey) Arnold of Indian Trail, N.C. and Mike (Diane) Rumsey of Ocala, Fla. He had 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is survived by a sister, Phyllis Griffin, of Mansfield, Pa.

Conrad was predeceased by four brothers, Carl, Alfred, Raymond, Robert and two sisters, Arlene Davies and Irene Campbell.

Conrad worked at Ward Manufacturing for 47 years. He served with the U.S. Army in Alaska, was a lifetime member of Hillside Rod and Gun Club in Blossburg, Pa. and Arnot Sportsman's Club. He was a member of the Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post No. 167, Morris Run, Pa., a founding member and secretary of the Williamson Road TV Company, served on the Blossburg Boro Council for 21 years and was a past president, and was a past Master of Bloss Lodge No. 350 Free and Accepted Masons and recently received his 50 year service award.

Family and friends will be received at the Freeberg Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Blossburg Lodge No. 350 Free and Accepted Masons will hold a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Friends will also be received Wednesday, May 18, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Funeral immediately following at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michele Somerville officiating. Burial with full military honors accorded at Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg, Pa.
