DEATH OCCURS AT AGE OF 80
Mrs. Alice Adams, 80, widow of David A. Adams, died Saturday evening at five-ten o'clock, following a three-day illness of pneumonia, at the home of her sister, Mrs. John DeGroot, 446 Riverside drive.
Born December 23, 1856, a daughter of Alrecht and Sadie Voartheuis Venema, she came to Utah in 1899 and had lived in Ogden since. Her husband died in January of 1912.
Surviving are three brothers, Lucas and Albert Venema, both of Salt Lake City; George Venema of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Mrs. DeGroot.
Services will be held Tuesday at one o'clock in Larkin & Sons' chapel. Friends may call at the Larkin mortuary drawing room Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday until time of services. Burial will be in the Ogden city cemetery.
