Son of Frank and Margaret (Hammes) Biebel. Self-employed and well respected building contractor, Ed Biebel Construction, early 1900s until the mid-1950s. Ed Biebel built the home at 2501 Oakwood Ave. in Allouez known as the "Gingerbread House" and hundreds of homes and buildings throughout the Green Bay area. Ed enjoyed a good cigar and one shot of brandy before bed. At the time of his death, he was the longest-standing member of the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay.
