Former Duncan resident, Frances Anne Carlson Clark, 79, of Luling, Texas, died on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at home in Luling.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 16 at Duncan Cemetery, with Ron Stough officiating. Interment is under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
Born Sunday, Sept. 27, 1931, in Gilmer, Texas, she was the daughter of James William "Pat" and Tabitha Ruth (Pace) Fitzgerald. Frances attended Comanche Grade School and graduated from Corpus Christi High School. She married William "Bill" Carlson on Nov. 28, 1949, in Alice, Texas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1986. She married Delbert Leon Clark on Aug. 11, 1991 in New Braunfels, Texas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 2009.
Frances was a homemaker and member of Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Carlson and wife Eileen of San Antonio, Texas, a daughter, Deborah "Ruthie" Jones of Luling, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harold Fitzgerald and a sister, Patricia Evers.
