Barbara Mae Child Aubele, 70, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at her home.
She was born April 19, 1941 in Clinton, Utah to Eldon Earl and Leona Butler Child. She graduated from Davis High School.
On October 12, 1963, Barbara married Max John Aubele in Syracuse, Utah. They made their home in Roy where she has lived the last 30 years. Max preceded her in death on June 25, 2007.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Barbara worked at Utah Woolen Mills for over 40 years. She also worked at Lofthouse Cookies for four years.
She enjoyed sewing and fishing. Barbara and Max loved spending time together camping and vacationing on their motorcycle. They were dearly devoted to one another.
Barbara is survived by two brothers, Clifford Eldon (Urai) Child, Clinton; Lynn Earl Child, Clearfield; five sisters, Linda L. West, Salt Lake City; Judy Ann (Dexter) Rees, St. George; Lawanna Jean (Wayne) Brown, Riverdale; Josephine Leona (Leonard) Larsen, East Layton; and Susan Gale (Craig) Clendenin, Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother-in-law, Dennis K. West.
Barbara we love you and will miss the fun times we had together.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
