Jason died Jan. 24, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident in Memphis TN, in which both he and his wife were killed.

He married Judith Rivero on July 16, 1994 and served with the US Army from 1994 to April 26, 2001. He moved to Stillwater in July 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Jordan Jeremy Doyeto, both of the home in Stillwater; his parents of Albuquerque NM; a brother, Wesley Doyeto of Albuquerque; and a sister, Jacquelyn Doyeto of Stillwater.
