Funeral services for George Timothy Mayo, 44, of Jenks were held Wednesday, August 29 (1990) at 10:30 a.m. at Jenks United Methodist Church. Interment was held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mayo, who died Monday, was retired from the United States Navy. He also had five years of service with the U.S. Post Office.

Mr. Mayo was Past Commander of VFW Post #577 in Tulsa.

Survivors include: his wife, Yoshiko; two sons, James and Robert, all of the home; mother, Mrs. James M. (Mary) Mayo; brother and sister-in-law, James Jr. and Frances, all of Jenks; sisters, Mrs. Sam (Pat) Sanco, Wagoner, Mrs. Bob (Susan) Strain, and Mrs. Sally Freeman of Jenks, and Mrs. Mike (Betsy) Smith, Okay.

Services and interment were under the direction of Moore's Southlawn.
