My grandfather was the son of Henry (Harry) Charles DENTON (DENTTON) and Anna KINEER.
He was born in Cheboygan, MI and lived in Flint, MI for a short while before his parents settled in Grand Rapids, MI.
He was briefly married to Bethel A BERRY and with her had a daughter, Doris Jean DENTON ETZKORN.
A few years after his divorce from Bethel he married his soul mate (my grandmother), Jessica (Jessie) Lou BELKNAP. They married in Grand Rapids on December 21, 1933. They were married for almost 44 years before he died.
They had 2 sons together during their marriage. My uncle Richard Lee DENTON and my father Thomas James DENTON.
My grandmother did not live long after her soul mate passed on. She died in 1979.
