Jacob C. Custer, a retired stationary engineer, died early this morning at 51 Linderman avenue where he made his home with Mr. and Mrs. William H. Wood. Born in Switzerland, he came to the United States in 1882 and for the past 20 years had resided in Kingston. Prior to retirement he was employed by the State of New York as a stationary engineer. There are no immediate survivors. Friends may call at any time at the W. N. Conner Funeral Home, 296 Fair street where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 o'clock. Burial in Phillipsport Cemetery, Phillipsport.
