Lorrene F. Clauss Scheiler, 89, of Remington, died at 10:10 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville.
She was born May 28, 1921 in Fairbury, Illinois to the late Henry and Anna Meister Leonhardt. She married Marvin Clauss in 1954 in Fairbury. He died July 13, 1978. She then married A. Harold Schieler in December 1986. He died Nov. 16, 1998. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters; 2 half-sisters and 2 half-brothers.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Clauss of Remington and Rex Clauss (wife: Tammy) of Rensselaer; 4 grandchildren, Jeff Clauss (wife: Rachel) of Pontiac, Illinois, Erica Kingman (husband: Kerry) of Rensselaer, Kylie Forney (husband: Todd) of Valparaiso and Abby Clauss of Lafayette and 7 great-grandchildren, Bryce, Hayley and Tyler Kingman, Lola and Harper Forney and Brittany and Micah Clauss.
