Dorothy Agee, age 100, 1819 Hampshire, Quincy, died Saturday, November 29, 2003 at 12:22 p.m. in Blessing Hospital. She was born July 30, 1903, in Atlas, IL, the daughter of George S. and Della R. Martin Adams. On June 19, 1926, she married Philip Agee in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1973. She and her late husband Philip Agee owned and operated the Sixth Avenue Cafeteria at 129 North Sixth for 17 years until they sold it in 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Jerry G. Adams and Homer V. Adams. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Friday, December 5, at the Calvary Episcopal Church in Louisiana, MO with the Rev. Theron R. Hughes officiating. Burial in Adams Family Cemetery, Atlas, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Calvary Episcopal Church, 709 Georgia St., Louisiana, MO; Adams-Dustin Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 493, Pittsfield, IL 62363 or St. Vincent's Home, Quincy.
