Irma Caroline Stanley Hampton, 104, a native of Lynn County, Iowa, and a resident of Fairhope, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, a few days shy of her 105th birthday. Survivor include son, Glen E. (Lorraine) Rockwell of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Phyllis (Kenneth) Wallace of Fairhope and Doris E. Rockwell of Costa Rica; two sisters, Wilma Leonardo of Tuscan and Clyda (Howard) Carpenter of Anamosa, Iowa; eight grandchildren, 40-plus great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 8 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope with graveside services and interment at 3 p.m. at Friends Cemetery.
