Raymond C. Isley, 71, of Rt. 1, Greensboro, died Saturday night at Wesley Long Hospital after three years in declining health. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Glenwood United Methodist Church where he was a member. The family will see friends 7-9 p.m. today at Hanes-Lineberry Van Story St. chapel.
He was a native of Alamance County, he had lived in Greensboro for 45 years, and was a retired employee of the city in the parks and recreation department.
Surviving are, widow, Mrs. Esther Ferguson Isley; sons, Charles A. Isley and Glenn R. Isley of Greensboro; brothers, John Melvin Isley of Ridgewood, N.Y.; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Davis of Mebane, and Mrs. J. D. McMillan of Greensboro.
