Services for C.E. Boatright, 80, 1029 Spring St., are pending at Denton Funeral Home. He died Feb. 15 at Guadalupe Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 1, 1909, in Woodson, Tex, and lived in Lamesa, Texas, where he attended school. He moved to Carlsbad in 1941 and worked at PCA. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Boatright, Carlsbad; two sons, Leland Boatright, El Paso, Doyle Boatright, Carlsbad; one sister, Opal Leatherwood, Lamesa; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

BOATRIGHT

Service for C.E. Boatright, 80, 1029 Spring St., is to be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Lindsey, Fox and Lake Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jack Blanchard, Wayne Kelly, Dennis Leatherwood, Neil Leatherwood, Robert Boatright and David Boatright.
